Product Information
Solid Oak 6 Panel Victorian Internal Door
This Victorian 6 Panel Solid Oak Door incorporates a traditional design that is built to last. The interior of your home can be transformed with the inclusion of the right furniture and finishing touches. Crafted from 100% oak, with only the finest timber, this door can help you do just that. Used with other oak furnishings and flooring, this product can help you create a stylish and modern interior.
Available in Made to Measure sizes, fill out our contact form for more info!
The panels help to create a sleek and understated design whilst giving an air of sophistication and class. The natural beauty within the wood can be seen in the decorative graining and attention-grabbing knots, which complement each other perfectly, creating a warming variety of colours and hues.
This product is available unfinished and sanded or alternatively you can choose for it to be pre-finished before delivery. Our in-house finishing service uses the same high-quality oils sold on our site. They offer an enhanced wood finish as well as excellent levels of protection.
For your doors to be pre-treated, simply choose your finish before adding them to the basket.
Please note that all of our doors are initially unfinished (unless otherwise stated) allowing you to choose a finish to your liking, the doors displayed on our website vary in appearance due to the different finishes being used by ourselves and customers alike, in addition to the natural qualities of the wood this will also contribute to the door’s appearance. All hinges, handles, levers and door accessories are for illustration purposes only and sold separately. We cannot guarantee an exact match to images used across our door product imagery for the reasons stated above.
Maintenance
Internal Wooden Product Finishing
Our products are supplied fit for purpose and unfinished (unless a pre finished / treated door has been ordered). As oak is a natural product, sanding, polishing and colouring maybe required to achieve the perfect finish. If you have not ordered a pre-finished/treated door then we recommend that quality hardwax oils such as Treatex or Osmo Oils are used to seal and protect the goods and to validate your warranty. All of our doors must be treated before they are hung, not afterwards. It is vitally important not to miss areas where the door has been cut for hinges or any other door furniture as this would allow for moisture to get into the door and spread throughout it.
Modern oil finishes are extremely durable and hardwearing, they are very simple to apply and fast drying. Once your appropriate finish has been applied, generally very little maintenance is required. It is always advisable to cover any scratches that may occur over time. The benefit of using hardwax oil is that this is a very simple process of re-applying the finish to the affected area with a cloth.
Storage - Flat and Dry Only
As wood is a natural product it is important that it is stored correctly. We recommend that your new products are stored flat and in a dry area. We recommend that all packaging is kept on the products, or removed for inspection and then re applied for storage. Again as wood is a natural product it is susceptible to changes in each room's atmosphere and as such please be mindful of this and take care to avoid damp areas or newly plastered rooms etc.
Installation
This door must be fitted with a minimum of 3 hinges. This is due to the weight of the product, which can be attributed to the high grade materials used in the construction of the door. Choosing to ignore this requirement will void your warranty.

If you are looking to update your old doors you will certainly not be disappointed with these - September 14Bought 12 of these (finished version) to replace our old tatty mahogany internal doors. They look fabulous and give a real lift to our house. Very solid feel and high quality. Even our joiner commented how well they were made (praise indeed as he makes doors..). -

Rachel Green Says:
Thoroughly recommend and would happily use again! - Septemver 11We bought these as we could not find a door small enough for our frames and these could be cut down by a large amount. We were expecting to wait at least 2 weeks for delivery but within just a couple of days we were given a date just a few days away. When the doors turned up they were well packaged and great quality. They needed little sanding down and look lovely now varnished and fitted.
