product code: 100590- More Info
-
A Suffolk latch is the most commonly used latch with barn or cottage doors. It consists of a simple drop-down bar and latch which is the perfect accompaniment for a traditional barn or cottage. There are many different styles to choose from but from our experience, being the experts within the barn and cottage door industry, we know that a simple, hand forged ‘penny end’ design is most certainly the most sought after.
For convenience, our penny end Pewter Suffolk latch is supplied as a complete single set, including all the fittings needed. With an overall length of 220mm, this stylish Suffolk latch looks stunning on doors of any size. If you are fitting this in a room that may require some privacy, such as a bathroom, simply add the matching Locking Keep With Leather Strap which is a perfect way of adding in a locking facility without compromising on design.
Suitable for internal use only, the old fashioned silver grey finish is very much sought after and once you see fitted on a beautiful oak door, it’s clear to see why Pewter is such a popular choice.
