The Variante Delfi hardwood oak flooring is a great neutral option for flooring. Relatively desaturated in colour, this flooring is bright and features lovely cool tones, brightening up the room. The oak is brushed, which brings all the qualities of rustic oak to life, such as the intricate grain pattern, knots and cracks. The product is then limed white, brightening the floorboards even further, but also allowing the grain and knots to stay visible, so that they create a beautiful contrast against each other. A versatile flooring option that would be at home in a range of different decors. This light oak flooring is great for rooms in the home that don’t get very much natural light, as lighter floors such as this can really open up a space. Our Delfi oak wood flooring uses a sunken filler, which fills in the worst of the bigger holes and cracks in the wood, so that they don’t lose strength, but doesn’t completely fill them in so they can’t be seen any more.

This hardwood flooring also has a micro bevelled edge on all four sides of the boards, so when laid, the individual planks can be determined, so there will be no confusing this floor with a fake oak flooring. This variation of oak flooring is engineered, which means it is constructed of multiple layers of sustainably sourced oak. The construction starts with the base, then the core of the wood consists of 3 layers of oak wood boards, all bonded together and topped with the 3mm rustic oak wear layer. The rustic oak wear layer allows you to sand down the flooring whenever you need to, for reasons such as scratches, dents, and marks in the flooring, without hitting the core of the floorboard. Our Delfi oak flooring comes in the size W220mm x L2200mm x D14/3.2mm and uses tongue and groove fixings, an incredibly sturdy and easy to assembly fixing.

This product comes in one size, W190mm x L1900mm x D14mm, allowing you to trim them down for any last minute adjustments. We recommend allowing for 10% of wastage, ensuring you will not run short on the floor boards. These boards are fitted together with a tongue and groove fixing, giving the flooring strength and making assembly relatively simple. The UV oil used to finish this oak floor is UV protected, meaning that any areas of the flooring that are exposed to light will not suffer from fading and sun bleaching over time
