Our FD30 rated prefinished oak internal door frame is a fantastic way to easily fit a new frame in your home. With a quality American white oak veneer finish, you can match this door frame to any of our internal veneer doors. Made from softwood core, this door frame is structurally sound and guaranteed to withstand fire for a minimum of 30 minutes. This lining set features removable stops, so that you can use a variety of doors with different thicknesses.
This prefinished oak door lining has pre-cut grooves which are design to fit a 15 x 4mm intumescent seal which is included with this product. The intumescent strip will prevent smoke seeping through the gaps in the door. Tested to the following standards:
BS EN 1634-1: 2008 BS 476-22: 1987 Durability: 1 million cycles

If you are installing an oak fire door then most people choose to fit them with a fire rated door lining to achieve the maximum protection, if you are unsure if this is needed, please speak directly with your building inspector.
We now offer an unfinished, universal oak fire door lining that is FD30 rated to compliment our FD30 fire doors. The universal door lining has been trenched with a 20x4mm groove for the intumescent strips (sold separately) and is supplied with loose stops. It can accomodate doors upto 838mm in width and 2040mm in height due to the upright lengths being a handy 2130mm.
The oak fire door FD30 lining is 32mm thick and available in two sizes - 108mm or 133mm, suitable for either wall thickness. As it is unfinished oak, we recommend that you oil the lining prior to hanging any doors with a hardwax oil for internal doors.
