These hand forged pewter straps are the perfect option if you want to have the traditional and sought after look of T hinges but still use a commonly used butt hinge or something similar. They are known as the ‘cheats’ way of obtaining the beautiful look on existing doors and also often purchased if the door surrounds doesn’t cater for a T hinge. The straps are the perfect addition to any cottage or barn style door and along with other pewter accessories, they are guaranteed to give your home the stunning look you are looking for.
Boasting a penny-end design and supplied in pairs, they are available in a choice of two different sizes to cater for different door widths, these pewter straps are designed to cater for most requirements. We recommend 15” for a 762mm wide door and 18” for a 838mm wide door. They are supplied with all fixings as well to take anyway any worry about having to purchase additional screws.
Suitable for internal use only, the old fashioned silver grey finish is very much sought after and once you see fitted on a beautiful oak door, it’s clear to see why Pewter is such a popular choice.
