Product Information
Sometimes referred to as a straight bolt, our hand forged pewter fishtail bolt is a stunning addition to our pewter range. The name comes from the curled over handle which resembles a fish tail and is often purchased with stable doors, either to bolt the top and bottom together or bolt the bottom half in place. As experts in the barn and cottage door industry, we know that the hand forged range is the most sought after and guaranteed to be the perfect final touch.
These beautiful fishtail bolts are available in two sizes, 4” and 6”, which you choose is dependent on how much you would like the pewter bolt to stand out. All fixings are supplied as standard, for your convenience.
Suitable for internal use only, the old fashioned silver grey finish is very much sought after and once you see fitted on a beautiful oak door, it’s clear to see why Pewter is such a popular choice.

Standard deliveries are 1-3 days from dispatch you should receive a notification from the courier prior to delivery.
On the rare occasion that your package arrives with signs of loss or damage, we strongly recommend opening it while the driver is still present. Please immediately report your findings to the driver and request that they raise a report, including photos and a detailed description of the damage.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check for any damages and report them to us within a 24-hour period.
All delivery times are based on orders being placed before 9am and the lead times are from when your order has been dispatched, not placed.
As unforeseen circumstances can, on rare occasions, cause delivery issues, we do not recommend booking any tradesmen until your items have been delivered.
