Product Information

This multi-ply oak flooring is a favourite of ours, with striking black grain patterns and a warm dark oak finish, this versatile flooring option will suit a wide range of homes. This impressive oak flooring is smoked, so the timber is transformed from a standard light oak to a deep warm toffee coloured timber, which is then finished with oiling, enhancing and protecting the colours in the oak even further. The black grain creates a stunning contrast against the smoked wood, making the grain stand out even more and enhancing every little detail on the oak. This oak flooring is on the more extreme end of the spectrum when it comes to rustic flooring, so this is not the right flooring for you if you’re looking for a smooth, bright floor. The nature of the material means that this rustic oak has a huge amount of oak characteristics, such as large and deep knots, splits and cracks. The deepest of these are filled by a sunken filler, protecting the integrity of the oak, without losing the classic rustic oak features. This oak flooring could work well in a traditional cottage style home or even in a contemporary apartment, it is compatible with many different types of decor.

The multi-ply construction method used to build this flooring consists of responsibly sourced timber, taken from sustainable forests, so you know that you’re buying from a company that cares about the environment. The multi-ply flooring consists of several layers of core oak wood, bonded together for strength and durability, with the 3mm solid oak layer bonded on top. The top wear layer on this engineered oak flooring means that you can buff out any marks over time to give this oak flooring a longer life. This flooring is sold in the size W180mm x L1800mm x D14mm, with the option to trim down the planks should you need to. All four edges of this oak flooring feature a micro bevelled edge, meaning that when assembled, the planks all have a defining gap between them, so there’s no mistaking this genuine oak flooring.
