Our Balmoral Ice Rustic Grade Multi-Ply flooring is a real show-stopper! This Grade A oak flooring is something different and a great option for any rooms in need of a little more light. This bright ice white flooring will help to bounce light around a room, instantly brightening up the areas in need of it. The oak is brushed, meaning that all the features associated with rustic flooring, such as knots, crack and splits are enhanced, and the grain pattern in the flooring is lifted, so when the ice white brushes over, the grain takes in the colour even more. Where you would expect to see the grain dark against the lighter oak colour, the opposite is true in this product, the oak colour is light but the grain is a bright white, creating a beautiful inverted contrast. This oak flooring is also UV oiled, meaning that the oil tint is protected against strong UV rays from the sun, which could lead to bleaching and discoloration had it not been used. This is quite a contemporary style of flooring, but there is no reason it couldn’t be used to bring an interesting spin to a traditionally styled home! There’s no mistaking this product for anything other than real oak flooring due to the micro bevel edge on all four sides of the floorboards, allowing each board to be defined and visible.
This product comes in the size W190mm x L1900mm x D14mm and also allows you to trim it down, should you need to make any adjustments. This multi-ply oak flooring is constructed in a way that increases strength and durability, by bonding several pieces of wood core together and topping them with the 3mm rustic oak layer to create an all-round stronger wooden floor. The 3mm layer of oak on the top means that you will be able to sand the floor down over time, should the product begin to look a bit worn out, meaning you can breathe life back into the product and maintain the quality look for years to come. Once sanding down any marks or scuff, you may need to re-treat the product for protection. This product is constructed with sustainably sourced materials, so you know you are shopping responsibly when purchasing from us!
