This was easy to apply and produced a great finish to our oak ledge with optional brace doors. It looks like one coating will be enough and the colour comes up great. We liked it so much we also used it on our new oak front door (we finished it with Osmo oil for weather protection) and our stair newells and handrails. Recommended
The difference the oil makes to the appearance of the wood is just fantastic. Really easy to apply with a lint free cloth creating an even finish. See Clear Matt comments.
