Solid Oak 4 Panel Victorian Internal Door - 1/2 Glazed
A traditional design that is built to last. This series of Solid Oak 4 Panel Victorian Doors are hand assembled from solid oak, using tried and proven construction methods They are truly beautiful doors that will fit perfectly into many different styles of home, whether you have a modern house, barn conversion or thatched cottage.
The true beauty of Solid Oak really shines on this series, they are supplied sanded but unfinished so you can choose what finish to use to complement whatever you may already have in your home. Photos shown are finished with Treatex clear hardwax oil.
Using Character Oak they look beautiful when combined with character grade Oak flooring and are not as bland as other veneered doors on the market. As with all of our solid oak doors, we use European oak from sustainable forests.
One additional benefit with our Victorian doors is that the solid oak panels are all removable, as there is no glue being used to hold the oak panels in place. Instead we use small nails to hold the beading in place which makes it very simple to add glazing to these Oak Victorian doors simply by loosening the glazing profile (beading) and inserting glass in place of the oak panels. It's a great way to allow light to flow through those darker areas of the home.
This half glazed 4 panel door comes with the top oak panels already removed. We do not supply the glazing as we find that our customers would typically prefer to select a glazing style of their own choice. With so many styles to choose from you can really find yourself spoilt for choice; speak to your local glazier once you have the door and its exact measurements.
