Solid Oak Chamfer Architrave

Our Solid Oak Chamfer Architrave is made exclusively with 100% solid oak wood and matches perfectly with our range of oak doors. When looking to create a consistent look throughout your home, particularly your interior, it’s often the finer details that can make the all-important difference. This chamfer architrave set subtly complements your oak door and will add an understated yet assured quality to the overall design.

Our solid oak doors are hand-made to the highest standard using only the best timber; they are an important acquisition when looking to implement a particular idea or vision. Pairing one of our oak doors with this product will only enhance the true quality of the door and further showcases the natural beauty found within the wood

Each solid oak architrave pack contains enough to complete one side of the door. We sell it this way as both sides are not always required (e.g. for a wardrobe or under stairs). If you require architrave on both sides of your door then you will need to order 2 packs.

Single Architrave Set

A single architrave set contains 2 x 2.1m vertical lengths and 1 x 1.1m horizontal length for across the top.

Double Architrave Set

A double architrave set contains 3 x 2.1m lengths. 2 of which are to be used vertically with the final piece horizontally across the top.

XL Architrave Sets

We also offer extra large architrave sets for higher door openings.

Single XL Architrave Set

Our single XL architrave set contains 2 x 2.3m vertical lengths and 1 x 1.1m horizontal length.

Double XL Architrave Set

Our double XL architrave set contains 2 x 2.3m vertical lengths and 1 x 2.1m horizontal length.

Architrave Contents & Measurements

If you have double doors please select the double architrave sets. The sets are available in four profiles ogee, bullnose, chamfer and torus.

Storage - Flat and Dry Only

As wood is a natural product it is important that it is stored correctly. We recommend that your new products are stored flat and in a dry area. We recommend that all packaging is kept on the products, or removed for inspection and then re applied for storage. Again as wood is a natural product it is susceptible to changes in each room's atmosphere and as such please be mindful of this and take care to avoid damp areas or newly plastered rooms etc.

Wooden Product Finishing

Our products are supplied fit for purpose and unfinished (unless a pre finished / treated door has been ordered). As oak is a natural product, sanding, polishing and colouring maybe required to achieve the perfect finish. If you have not ordered a pre-finished/treated door then we recommend that quality hardwax oils such as Treatex or Osmo Oils are used to seal and protect the goods and to validate your warranty.

Modern oil finishes are extremely durable and hardwearing, they are very simple to apply and fast drying. Once your appropriate finish has been applied, generally very little maintenance is required. It is always advisable to cover any scratches that may occur over time. The benefit of using hardwax oil is that this is a very simple process of re-applying the finish to the affected area with a cloth.

We bought around 12 doors from ukoakdoors for our barn conversion as well as architrave. They have been excellent and in place a few years now. Many people have asked us where they came from and have also purchased the same.
