Solid Oak Traditional External 4 Panel Stable Door
The 4 panel stable door is a popular design, adding charm and character to country properties, cottages and more contemporary dwellings alike. The 4 panel style accomodates 4 glazing panels that ensures plenty of light floods into your property.
The glass panels are not supplied but the stable door top is machined to accept a double glazing unit. Select a glazing style that will best suit your home. Approximate size for glazing is 339.25x294mm, (please be advised this is an approximate measurement based on visible window pane, we recommend you use this as a guide for quotation purposes only and to wait until your door arrives with you before commiting to purchase glazing.)
Living up to our usual high quality, all stable doors are manufactured using solid European oak and are handcrafted with traditional techniques.The solid oak 4 panel stable door is manufactured using the strongest mortise and tenon joints for maximum strength. Made from solid oak and 44mm thick, this beautiful stable door gives any standard door a run for its money. We also supply an Oak Weatherbar to match the door, which will be required should the door be "open to the elements". All our stable doors come as standard with a 1" rebate and, as they are identical on both the front and rear faces, you will be able to decide if you would like the door to open inwards or outwards.
Our range of external doors are made from solid oak, however we do not recommend that any door of any construction is used in exposed areas i.e. direct rain or hot sun, therefore we recommend use in sheltered areas with a porch or canopy.
Please follow these treatment and maintenance instructions to preserve the beauty and strength of the wood.
