Living up to our usual high quality all stable doors are manufactured using solid European oak (44mm thickness) and are handcrafted with traditional techniques and mortise and tenon joints for maximum stability. We also supply an Oak Weatherbar to match the door, which will be required should the door be "open to the elements". Machined to accept double glazing there is no need for this door to let heat escape any more than a patio door would. With this top you really do get the best of both worlds, watching the world go by with the top closed or opening it up to get fresh air.
All our stable doors come as standard with a 1" rebate and as they are identical on both the front and rear faces you will be able to decide if you would like the door to open inwards or outwards. Glazing is not supplied; approximate size for glazing is 578x718.5mm, this is an approximate measurement only, contact your local glazier once you have the exact measurements from your door and select a style of glazing that will best suit your home.
Our range of external doors are made from solid oak, however we do not recommend that any door of any construction is used in exposed areas i.e. direct rain or hot sun, therefore we recommend use in sheltered areas with a porch or canopy.
