Osmo Polyx Oil Clear Satin 0.75l - 3032

The original Omso Polyx Oil was probably the best product on the market to treat you doors with, this product range is our preferred solution for finishing Internal Oak Doors, however

It is a mix of Oil and Wax, meaning that it will soak into the wood surface (as an oil) but harder and provide a hard wearing wax layer.

It is incredibly easy to apply, just simply brush or spray into the Oak doors, leave for an hour or 2 to dry out and then hang the door.

It provides incredibly hard-wearing, micro-porous (breathable) and  water repellent surface treatment.

Each  litre tin will cover approx. 8 square metres with two coats and depending on useage will look great for several years after which it can simply be re applied.

Specifications

Resistant against wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water according to DIN 68861-1C (German Industrial Norm)

Safe for children's toys and fast to saliva and perspiration according to European Norm EN71 and DIN 53 160.

Ingredients

Sunflower oil, soybean oil, thistle oil, carnauba wax, candelilla wax, paraffin, siccatives (drying agents and water repellents), solvent (de-aromatised white spirit, benzene free and complying with the purity demands of the European Pharmacopoeia).

Application

Apply with a brush or roller

Oswax is ready to use - you don't need to thin it, simply stir it well.

Apply the 1st coat thinly, thoroughly and evenly along the wood grain, removing any surplus immediately. Allow this coat to dry for at least 8-10 hours ensuring good ventilation.

Apply the 2nd coat as you did the first - this coat will flow much easier than the first. Again allow 8-10 hours for drying and ventilate well.

When the door is thoroughly dry, you may buff or polish by hand or with a machine.

Cean your brushes or rollers using white spirit or benzene-free brush cleaner.
