Are you looking for a truly stunning solid oak ledged door? We are pround to announce a new arrival to our country style door range. Manufactured with sustainable European oak which really highlights the character and light brown colour of the wood. Constructed with tongue and groove boards with a decorative bead and butt profile adding extra style to a traditional style door.

These doors are similar to our other styles but have the added benefit of reversible braces if required. These doors are supplied unfinished so you are able to finish to match your favourite wood treatment.

By supplying the braces separately to these doors is an advantage of being able to use the same style throughout your home but with some using the braces for extra decoration and differentiation between rooms. The tongue and groove construction allows the boards to be behave as one single construction at the same time allowing the boards to behave independantly depending on the moisture in your home at diffferent times of the year, therefore minimising movement during seasional varitaions.

Ledges are trimmed to fit across the whole width of the door and are attached to the vertical boards using screws covered with a traditional looking plug, customers are continually commenting on how great these are as a finishing touch.

Your choice of door will have a large influence on the look (and more importantly 'feel') of a property and is an important consideration when building or redecorating. This style of barn door will add a lot of character and a homley feel to any room it is used in. They are ideal for traditional cottages or barn conversions, particularly when finished with hardwax oils that enhance the grain and beauty of the natural wood.

All doors are 44mm thick, this comprises of the main door being 22mm and the ledges being 22mm and are an ideal door to couple our traditional T Hinges with. The distance between the top / bottom of the door and above / below the ledge is approximately 7".

All of our oak internal doors are supplied untreated so that you can choose your favourite Oil or Wax Finish.
