Old Oak Antique Reproduction Cottage Doors, made from new Oak that has been aged to give a very authentic looking rustic finish. The Oak that is used is very rustic and the finished product looks as if it is made from Reclaimed Oak boards is is a genuine Antique door from a period property. All doors are made from 3 large and very random width boards which are help together with tongue and groove. Very large knots are patched with wood while smaller knots and shakes can be filled with beeswax during finishing.
Once the doors are finished we often get customers calling to let us know not only how great they look in their period property but just how many of their friend think that these are genuine autique doors from a period property and simply do not believe they they are in fact Antique reproduction doors.
Available in sizes from 2'3" to 2'9", all doors 6'6" high. Doors may easily be cut down to custom sizes.
