Great Stuff! Review by Kimberly Johnston
Giving a lovely deep gold colour to the bare oak
I've just put one coat on an ox-bow solid oak external door. The 0.75l tin of "Color" (why dont they call it basecoat on the tin as I nearly used the ELAN as the base coat which is top coat) uses around half a tin to cover the rear side - the side with significantly more wood surfaces and edges) of the ox bow door. I'm not convinced there's enough to enable two coats on this door. Didn't smell too awful. There is a slight darkening stain in it giving a lovely deep gold colour to the bare oak when brushed on so it is effectively as clear varnish - just. Too early to try it out on the weather.
