Solid Oak External Door Frame

Our external door frames are manufactured using laminated sections of solid European oak. The frame is fully reversible for use with inwards and outwards opening doors. The frame is suitable for doors 44mm deep.

The frames are build to a high standard and pre machined to fit a standard weather seal (Aquamac 21) which is included.

The frame includes a head and a sill (950x50mm), 2 x jambs / sides (2050x50mm), and lower sill, and the weather seal. The frame is supplied flat packed with screws and instructions, the frame will need to be cut down to the size required which is a very simple process. The frame does not use mortise and tenon joints.

As an approximate guide (based on total outside dimension) If you are selecting a frame to fit an existing hole please allow the door height + 85mm and the door width + 70mm. These are absolute minimum sizes and don't allow anything for fitting, please check with your builder before ordering.(ie, if you have a door size of 1981mm high x 838mm wide, then the hole will need to be bigger than 2066 high, 908mm wide)

Included with this product is a 6.5 metre coil of Aquamac 21 door seal, a very simple but effective wiping seal which reduces draughts to a minimum. The deal is quick and easy to fit into the pre machined rebate. The aquamac is bronze in colour.
