Solid Oak External Door 78 x 33" (838mm)
Solid Oak External Door in a cottage style, this is a versatile choice capable of adding either a contemporary or traditional look to your house or Barn Conversion. These doors are absolutely stunning and well suited to period, country or listed properties, whilst not looking out of place in more contemporary homes.
Made from PEFC Certified European Oak, the doors feature tongue and groove construction with V-Groove Profile to help prevent warping of the door over time. The frame uses traditional mortice and tenon construction.
These solid oak external doors are designed to allow trimming up to 3" in width and 3" in height. These doors may be hung using with either traditional T-Hinges or modern door hinges. These doors are thick enough for security locks and look the same from the front and back. We also supply an Oak Weatherbar to match the door, which will be required should the door be "open to the elements". Our range of external doors are made from solid oak, however we do not recommend that any door of any construction is used in exposed areas i.e. direct rain or hot sun, therefore we recommend use in sheltered areas with a porch or canopy.
Please follow these treatment and maintenance instructions to preserve the beauty and strength of the wood.
