Solid Oak Skirting Board with Bullnose Profile

Quality skirting boards can dramatically improve the overall effect you can achieve when adding the final pieces to the interior of your home. Combined with other oak furnishings, you can create a solid and complete look, with each individual ‘piece of the puzzle’ complimenting each other to create a real sense of personality.

Our Bullnose Solid Oak Skirting Boards are crafted from the same wood species and to the same quality as our oak doors are. They are dual profiled and supplied in 3 metre lengths to ensure they are easy to fit and manageable, allowing you to easily create that consistent look and feel. When buying this product, as with flooring, we strongly recommend that you buy approximately 10% extra to allow for any miscuts or short lengths you may be left with during the installation process.

Our Bullnose Architrave will compliment this contemporary skirting board ideally and will again allow you to enhance the overall consistency of your interior; you can view this product here

Price quoted is per linear metre and includes VAT.

Product supplied in 3 metre lengths only so please ensure correct multiple at time of ordering. You need to order PER METRE, so quantity will need to be divisable by 3.

Please note, all our skirting is dual-profiled; ie the Bullnose profile features the Taurus profile on the reverse.

Storage - Flat and Dry Only

As wood is a natural product it is important that it is stored correctly. We recommend that your new products are stored flat and in a dry area. We recommend that all packaging is kept on the products, or removed for inspection and then re applied for storage. Again as wood is a natural product it is susceptible to changes in each room's atmosphere and as such please be mindful of this and take care to avoid damp areas or newly plastered rooms etc.

Wooden Product Finishing

Our products are supplied fit for purpose and unfinished (unless a pre finished / treated door has been ordered). As oak is a natural product, sanding, polishing and colouring maybe required to achieve the perfect finish. If you have not ordered a pre-finished/treated door then we recommend that quality hardwax oils such as Treatex or Osmo Oils are used to seal and protect the goods and to validate your warranty. All of our doors must be treated before they are hung, not afterwards. It is vitally important not to miss areas where the door has been cut for hinges or any other door furniture as this would allow for moisture to get into the door and spread throughout it.

Modern oil finishes are extremely durable and hardwearing, they are very simple to apply and fast drying. Once your appropriate finish has been applied, generally very little maintenance is required. It is always advisable to cover any scratches that may occur over time. The benefit of using hardwax oil is that this is a very simple process of re-applying the finish to the affected area with a cloth.
