Antique Oak Reproduction Cottage Door 2'6" (762mm)

Oak Antique Reproduction Doors, ideal to add a contemporary or traditional look to your house or Barn Conversions. These doors are absolutely stunning and are perfectly suited to Period or listed Properties. Knots and Shakes are deliberately left open to be filled in during the final finish for an authentic look and feel.

Made from PEFC Certified European Oak the doors feature tongue and groove construction with V-Groove Profile to help prevent warping of the door over time.

Made with Large Random Width Vertical planks and 3 large horizontal 'ledges'. Please note these boards can be very random with a single board up to 1/2 the width of the door, just as they were made a very very long time ago. They will not all be 'evenish' boards as shown in the photos.

Each Cottage Door has approx 5mm gap between the edge of the Ledge and the edge of the doors. However they are designed to allow cutting down up to 3" in width per door.  These doors may be hung using with either traditional T-Hinges or Modern door Hinges.

All Doors are 44mm thick total, ie 22mm vertical boards and 22mm ledges.

All our Oak Internal Doors are supplied untreated so that you can choose your favourite Oil or Wax Finish. However the Antique Reproduction doors are supplied 'Aged' but unfinished. All you will need to do is finish with Wax or Oil, or apply stain if you would like the doors to be darker. We recommend 1-2 coats of Treatex Dark Hardwax oil to get the same finish as above, as these doors are not really suitable for a natural finish.
