The perfect finishing touch for any traditional exterior

This Stunning 1930's Glazed Oak Veneer Front Door boasts a beautifully elegant double glazed window with a pattern which has been designed to perfectly complement a classically styled home. The door is made from European white oak and offers a solid wood core as well as an extra thick 20mm veneer. The door provides fantastic strength and durability and has been designed to withstand the harsh British winter and give your home a superior appearance to similarly priced alternatives.

Lasting looks

With a solid wood core you can be sure that your new front door will last. Not only that but it will retain its stunning appearance once it has been finished in the treatment of your choosing. Adding a wood treatment is highly recommended and will enable you to protect your door, enhance its appearance and also achieve the look you want. We also supply an Oak Weatherbar to match the door, which will be required should the door be "open to the elements". Sold separately as not everyone will need if your door is situated within an enclosed porch. click here for Oak Weatherbars.

The door features raised panels and 20mm solid oak edges which are thicker than many other veneered doors. They allow for additional flexibility and trimming to make fitting the door a quick and easy process.

Our external doors must be treated before being hung, retreated every six months and kept dry at all times through the use of a canopy or similar. For full guidelines, please visit our External Door Protection Page.

Please note that all of our doors are initially unfinished (unless otherwise stated) allowing you to choose a finish to your liking, the doors displayed on our website vary in appearance due to the different finishes being used by ourselves and customers alike, in addition to the natural qualities of the wood this will also contribute to the door’s appearance. All hinges, handles, levers and door accessories are for illustration purposes only and sold separately. We cannot guarantee an exact match to images used across our door product imagery for the reasons stated above.

Storage - Flat and Dry Only

As wood is a natural product it is important that it is stored correctly. We recommend that your new products are stored flat and in a dry area. We recommend that all packaging is kept on the products, or removed for inspection and then re applied for storage. Again as wood is a natural product it is susceptible to changes in each room's atmosphere and as such please be mindful of this and take care to avoid damp areas or newly plastered rooms etc.

External Wooden Product Finishing

Our products are supplied fit for purpose and unfinished. As oak is a natural product, sanding, polishing and colouring maybe required to achieve the perfect finish. We recommend that quality specialist external treatment such as Impranol Oils are used to seal and protect the goods and that our external doors are protected from direct sunlight and rain by either a canopy or porch. By doing so you will comply with our terms and conditions.

Modern oil finishes are extremely durable and hardwearing, they are very simple to apply and fast drying. Once your appropriate finish has been applied, generally very little maintenance is required. It is always advisable to cover any scratches that may occur over time. The benefit of using Impranol Oils is that it is a very simple process of re-applying the finish to the affected area with a cloth.
